This past week, the National Insurance Crime Bureau released its 2015 statistics for the most stolen vehicles in America. The top two on the list come as no surprise to anyone who knows stolen cars. Honda’s have been the most popular car among car thieves for nearly three decades.
It isn’t so much that the car thieves go out of their way just to steal these top vehicles but there happens to be a lot of these vehicles out there on the road. Also, you can head out to the NICB website where they have the stolen vehicle stats broken down for all 50 states.
So, here they are. The most stolen vehicles in America last year were:
1 – Honda Accord (52,244)
2 – Honda Civic ( 49,430)
3 – Ford F150 (29,396)
4 – Chevrolet Silverado (27,771)
5 – Toyota Camry (15,466)
6 – Dodge RAM (11,212)
7 – Toyota Corolla (10,547)
8 – Nissan Altima (10,374)
9 – Dodge Caravan (9,798)
10 – Chevrolet Impala (9,225)
